My walking, while still considerably better than Tuesday, is worse today. Not unexpected. I want to make a better effort t document my walking changes since that is easier to show on video. Pain and fatigue is not something you can show someone (which is a shame since those are amongst my most debilitating symptoms).

I also wanted to showoff my wheelchair. Ha. I never thought I would be so cool rolling around in public in a wheelchair since I had a hard time when I started using a cane. However, by the time I was gifted my chair, I was pretty bad off and was more than happy to be out and about without giving a second thought to my new accessory.

Mobility is something I struggle with daily. For multiple reasons (neurological walking impairment, severe fatigue, arthritis, shortness of breath...), using even a cane is now just too difficult for me if I am out. Even then, I usually can only take so much before I am having too much arthritis pain and fatigue to continue on in my chair.

I'm so ready to be able to walk again, but until then I will more than happily use my chair.

  • @ctinton I know.. he sounds like as asshole.

  • girls great, cant say much for the camera operator,

  • Good job, you gotta use it or lose it! In my case I lost it anyway, but that's multiple sclerosis for ya. I'm calling my videos relating to disability my 'Krip Kam' series that I link to my own journal, 'Get Glenn Mobile!'

Once my first goal's attained, restoring my mobility by modifying my Honda Element for wheelchair access, I'm planning to do more online journalism. This New Media's so much more useful and creative than the old paradigm, ain't it?

    Keep up the good work!
