Not being able to pay would explain why it took so long, but it does NOT explain changing schools... Its more expensive to change schools than it is to stay at the same (application fees, transfer credit fees, travel, etc). Doesn't sound like money was her issue, so stop making excuses for her. She changed schools a bunch of times because she kept failing and was looking for easy ways out, and she's a flake that doesn't believe in finishing anything she starts.

And I've seen Todd interview with Greta Van Sustren, and of course all she asked him about was his hobbies and he seemed to struggle to string together complete sentences and never looked her in the eye... He seems really slow.
