"I Will Lift My Eyes" Bebo Norman piano cover

For some reason this song is incredibly difficult for me to sing without being pitchy, which drives me crazy!! My voice sounds a little weird, and I pronounce some words a little weird too, haha. Oh well, it's a fun one anyway. :)
Please let me know what you think....I appreciate constructive criticism, esp from fellow musicians.

I started off playing guitar, and when playing guitar one "strums" the melody with the right hand and holds the chord with the left hand, so that guitarist mentality sneaks into my piano playing.

I'm trying to rid myself of the ghastly habit :P

We just have different playing styles. I usually play the melody with the right hand, and the chord progression with the left.

oh!!! ok i understand now. yeah, i usually don't play melody if i'm singing it too, but if i'm just playing, sometimes i do melody.
