I love the chance idea - the inherent possibility. When I think I see one - sometimes I cutout a shape that I want and just to be sure. I think the powerline thing really works - helps the eye move around the work.... Nice!

That is exactly what the composition needed, so great! ..the creative process in action. I had a great Japanese painting teacher, Mr Kenako, who once told me that you should spend 80% of your time looking at your painting, advice I cherish. I think the power lines not only add visual depth but also a very interesting contrast, natural world/industrial world. beautiful, i can't wait to see it finished. Also like the layers built with plexi, very cool. thank you!

I really like watching your videos, very inspiring. I am self taught so I appreciate free information. You talk about bitumen; but being from the USA, I haven't been able to find it. Is there a substitute?
