Here's a live show I did where I made kettle corn like they do at the State Fair, but show how to do it at home. Try it, it really works. I also review the cheesy popcorn I made in a previous episode.

Thanks to Twin Cities Live for letting me post this.

cook well.

  • Try brewers yeast as a spice for your popcorn. It's so good.

  • @witchman1 I keep meaning to try that, thanks

  • Would I use the same measurements for the coconut oil recipe without the sugar?

I used organic popcorn and coconut oil in the pan last week and it flopped. I think it was the popcorn, not sure what happened there but only half popped.

  • @Pippilly It was probably the popcorn, if it gets too dry it won't pop, make sure to keep it in an air tight container. You want to use just enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan, I'll get more direct measurements in a couple days.

  • @lookleep I'll have to go check, I'm out as of last night so I can get the exact name.

  • @700eyesonly007 Thanks!! They have it in a small size too so I can try it out first.

  • @lookleep myworldhut com looks like they have it available...in their clearance section, they call it Pop 'N' Season Popcorn Seasoning Cheddar & Spice Bulk Frontier. Still looking to see if other shops sell it.

  • @lookleep Me again. Okay, I see now from the station's web site that you no doubt buy the spice locally from that Lakewinds store. I guess I'll just have to wait for the Frontier place to restock. Is is specifically called "Cheddar and Spice" and you buy it in a 1-pound package?

  • Noooo! I went to the Frontier website and their Cheddar & Spice is out of stock! Do you buy it anywhere else?

  • WONDERFUL video!!! Thank you!
