@WorldAccording2ME I try to go by what has worked historically and what is logical. When it comes to economics those that are in the Adam Smith camp are the most practical. It just makes sense to let the market decide what is best for society because it is society that drives the market. When the gov't gets involved, regardless of party, all hell breaks loose.

Keynes and Marx, although brilliant men, created economic theories that were caca. They didn't work.

At this rate the only people with jobs will be government employees! As this man said, the costs either come from borrowing (debt), or the private sector. The private sector is GONE, they're in China, so we continue to borrow to fund the public sector! The Empire is crashing!

Private sector is starving? the numbers are in, rich people all made more money this year, somebody educate this simpleton. Bush let all those wealthy "folks" like: politicians, wall street, oil, big banks, gun companies, drug companies, insurance etc. get away with not paying taxes even while bringing in huge profits. They didn't help the debt or jobs and these crooks want to skip taxes again!.
