i'm still debating on if i should join the dark brotherhood or not because i got attacked by one of their assassins at riverwood and found out i was a target and they may be sending more after me

nor will it change the fact, to me, the dark brotherhood quests were crap compared to Oblivion's... nothing will beat Whodunit? quest

@4TheOneWithOutAName Well it can be a "She" for you all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that Shadowmere is Male in Skyrim.

It will still be a she for me!! As the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim had less fun quests than Oblivion... and I didn't really feel anything much when the [spoiler] was attacked, nor was sneaking on the ship and killing the [spoiler] wasn't that satisfying

@4TheOneWithOutAName Shadowmere is actually an otherwordly entity that manifests itself as a dark horse. Apparently it's capable of changing gender as well - for in Oblivion it was a She, and in Skyrim it's a He.
