If anyone has any tips on how to get a really great gated reverb snare like the original, using Battery 3 or Kurweil's VAST then I'd like to hear from you as I'm going to re-do this vid in high def.

This is my first track using my new audio rig, I'm still getting to grips with the new setup but I'm quite chuffed with the results.

Only downside to a 2 octave controller is having to jab the octave shift buttons like a maniac!!

Theres a few bits I'm not happy with but hey, it was just a test, and I didn't have the sheet music (so please don't ask me for it!) I had to do it all by ear.

yes what do you think about the interface? I want to buy one, but i noticed they are discontinued! My main question is have you tried recording vocals, and if so is there any latency. That is the main reason i want to move away from usb. The monitoring sucks when recording vocals. Please let me know what you think. I might still get one on ebay or something.

@BeholdProphecy To be honest I wasn't that pleased with the setup, I think a lot of it had to do with my sony vaio laptop (never buying another one!) I now use a Mac + M-Audio Firewire 410. I'm going to be selling my Emu on Ebay shortly.
