5 Barrie GO Trains & NEWS!!! Loud horns, super fast footage!

GO Trains travelling Northbound on the CN Newmarket sub on the Barrie GO line from Union Station in Toronto, Ontario to Barrie South GO Station in Barrie, Ontario.

NEWS: On Monday, January 30th, 2012, the newest GO Station on the Barrie line called the 'Allandale Waterfront GO Station' will be open for service! Trains will start arriving from Union at 5:53PM to this station, coming from the Barrie South GO Station from the regular 5:47PM arrival time (plus 4 more trains, arriving in virtually 30 minute increments).

Construction will still be taking place on the parking, platforms, and station building, but the convenience of the station along the waterfront could raise passenger ridership. GO is preparing existing stations along this line for 12-car trainsets, which is expected to start up in late spring of 2012 as ridership numbers increase.

@055292312 yes it is! Although I have noticed sitting in the cab cars that have an F59 on the front no longer have a window on the conductor's side, so maybe this setup will be permanent for a while???

@HamiltonTrainMan they did many many moons ago. The CN Newmarket Sub used to be busiest south of Bradford, although CN did run a special order about 2 years ago up to Barrie, which was a large transformer going to Hydro One. it was dropped off in the Barrie yard (where GO Trains park for the night) and was picked up by the BCRY short line railway.
