@Sei1863 thank you! i have finally found a comment from someone who agrees with me on spanking!even though i've been ridiculed about being against spanking and called names i.e. p*ssy,pathetic, stupid sensitive f**k...... i personally don't agree with spanking too.
i was never spanked as a child, but my parents sent me to my room and took away TV time when I was younger for bad behavior. and i understood that they meant business

For all of the people who are against spanking...I was spanked as a child only rarely, and never painfully, but it only took a couple times for me to get with the program. My parents could so much as say "do you want a spanking?" for me to stop acting up, not because I feared the pain (because like I said, my parents never spanked me hard) but because I feared the humiliation and embarrassment of being spanked. It kept me and my siblings in line better than any other parenting technique

At 4 and a half if that kid doesn't know to stay with mom, then Barbara has really failed at parenting 101. Having your child not leave your side at the store is just basic parenting.

@thisismyytname No need to touch kids..parenting is about TEACHING, not about BEATING. I'm glad you are watching super nanny..at least you're being taught a wonderful alternative to spanking.
