The more I hear this... I believe Tony Iommi used a Klipp on the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album. This sounds so close to the recording. Does anybody know when or if Iommi used the Klipp??? I have never seen any photos or video that prove that he used a Klipp. Just Laney Supergroups in the early days.

You don't make them good advertise ... Change tubes in amp. This head sounds also amazing with bass.

and I'm pumped to get hit with Sabbath right off the bat of this video!

@navdave this thing is a sludgy doomer's dream amp.

So funny that this is the only true clip of a Laney Klipp's distortion channel on boob tube. I love this amp and plan on cloning one soon!
Primitive distortion rules for doom riffs!!

Nice playing! Your klipp doesn't look like mine. It seems like the logo you have had on it must have been like the supergroups. I have the L-logo on mine. I think mine is a '74 if i remember right. I've posted a video. Cheers

@Juckey2008 Tony definitely used one for volume 4. I would'nt doubt it being used here and there from that point on.

I just bought a Klipp on Ebay and been experimenting with the sounds. I have it set up with a Marshall 1960 Vintage Cab and so far I love how it sounds when patching the two channels.
Funny thing is, I also own a Black Heritage H-157. Other than me, I didn't think there was anyone else who had one of the more rare guitars out there paired-up with the most rare of guitar amp heads.
