  • @WhiteSwanPrincess Yes it is :) Jodi Benson voiced Thumbelina

  • i probably just took the biggest trip down memory lane while watching this.

  • I feel sorry for Thumbelina's mother. All she wanted her whole life was some companionship, and when she finally gets a daughter, she hangs around for a while and then pisses off to marry a guy she's known for like, a few days, despite being 16. And seriously, did anyone notice how the seasons changed over the course of a few days?

  • toatally favorited this part specifically. the part where cornelius jumps in "AND ILL NEVER LET YOU FALLLL"... personally i'm not into faries... but that makes me swoon. then the wedding reminds me of how happy it is when a girl gets her happily ever after... just like every girl deserves.

  • Thumbelina's wedding gown was Very Pretty. Why the weird hair some ask? The Royal Queen had a crown in the fashion of a trumpet flower. The fairy kingdom was all of Flowers. Thumbelina was really a fairy. Her birth in the flower. The connection? look at all the fairies in bloom at the end. just as the Royals influenced the changing of the seasons, I believe Thumbelina maybe had magic fairy qualities like the influence over spring--- inspiring new life. IMO- very lovely story xoxo

  • thumbelina 2 please!!!!! :D

  • Love this movie! :D

  • @WhiteSwanPrincess yes jodi benson is the voice of both ladies :)

  • @WhiteSwanPrincess same person

  • @albion871 Like their misogynistic tendencies? Every female character's goal is to find true love (they seem to want to get married after two or three days of meeting the guy), as if she has no other interests. And then the strong female characters (like Mulan and Belle) are punished for their individualism. Don't get me wrong, I grew up watching Disney and I'll always like it. But you can't deny how sexist their movies are.
