MAN!!! you only need to open the gas up about 1 turn. waaaayyy to rich. to turn it of the correct way, just turn off the gas.

mines been running real well. ive made some new gaskets for the carb and it helped alot! i even was able to cold start it without priming it around 40deg.

If its firing irregularly and puffing alot of smoke, its usually running too rich, a good place to start is one full turn out unless the intake line has a small leak, then itll take more. if its firing irregulatly and sounds a little bit hollow, and backfires now and then its probebly too lean. Theres only about a half turn difference between too rich and too lean. A good place to start is one full turn out with the mixture needle

They all seem to run differently, Mine runs well at low speeds at only a half turn out, but takes one full turn out for full speed. I think it all depends on the intake line, and if there are any leaks in it or not.

whoa dud to shut it off turn off the gas at the mixture screw! youll kill your mag by poping off the spark wire!

mine has been running on 1 1/2 turns out on the mixture screw i think thats where it should be! ill have to check my manual
