The way victims of Borderline Personality Disorder communicate is confusing and upsetting to many. If you've been living with a person with BPD or a similar personality disorder, you'll find this animation to be a common, perhaps even a tame, version of things that happen to you. If not, it may give you some insights into how miserable Borderlines can make the lives of their loved ones.

  • @elioscence Um, actually, it is pretty well on target: shifting moods, manipulativeness, misinterpretation of simple statements & facts. Yep. It's borderline alright.

  • This is sad stuff. I have an uBPDexgf and my heart bleeds for her pain. I wish she was as open to her issues as some of the similar people who post here. Love to you all... Take care and work hard.

  • Pathetic.

  • @Vermontist1 Most of the ones I've met in mental hospitals and such actually tend to be pretty empathetic.

  • this is stupid, you do not know what is going on inside of her. I am over with this stupid videos

  • @HaDagesh Not necessarily, no. But typically, yes.

  • @Vermontist Borderlines aren't necessarily manipulative.

  • @Richard1294 It takes having experiences like that to open up. You find out that there's more pain if you hide who you are.

  • @hijodeganas Borderlines are self-loathing. They have more empathy for others. Narcissism is more insensitive whereas borderline is more sensitive. Borderline fears abandonment and harms one's self. This is a devaluation stage of BPD, but at times we idealize people to a ridiculous extent. Example: this week I almost called my boyfriend a god because he was so sweet to me.

  • Watching this I wonder what the difference is between borderline and narcissism, although I know they often overlap. If anyone could educate me I'd appreciate it.

  • @rosecityremona Thank God I am a Single Male ! LOL

  • American Woman !
