I come from a family that lived in a mainly "white" part of the city. My family home was flooded. My 60 year old father had to swim out of his home in an inner tube for a mile and then walk several miles to safety. It wasn't just black neighborhoods. Most of New Orleans is black. How could the flood waters not flood mostly black homes?????

The videos of cops after katrina in black neighborhoods, do they excist??? The only videos are police in white neighborhoods. I smell a rat here. there seems to be an anti white bias with gun control&confiscation.

@mamacornettesmoney the poor blacks were disproportionately affected by the levee breaks, because it mainly flooded their neighborhoods. middle class whites lived further from the levees. but hey, keep trying that class warfare thing, see how it works out for you. i don't think you'll be able to kick the poor and weak around much more than they already are, but maybe you'll be able to, and maybe it'll make you feel better to do so. your family must be so proud.

@fonzdaii That is nonsense. They have rebuilt many of the guettos MUCH nicer than they were before (do you have any idea how filthy and unhabitable they were before?). Some haven't been rebbuilt and much of that is because of protesters who say building nicer buildings is taking away room for some of the project dwellers.
