information is food, but its such little food that it doesnt even matter. Information is more like the key to utilizing the bodies food by stimulating the brain thus getting particles where they need to be for proper function. but its the body that amplifies the signal thats why when the body has stoped functioning (e.g. it dies) information no longer does anything to the body. infomation is more like a meal plan then a meal
