You're so right - "she's the one." She's the ONLY one; compared to Barbra, all the rest are just singers, some good, some better. But nobody, nowhere, nohow, will ever come close to sounding like Barbra. I LOVE HER, she's my idol.

G'day, Monroscol... Thanks for your reply. I just love BS' new album and it deserves to be that high on the charts. When I said she should record a jazz album, I guess I was thinking of jazz standards. I have most of her albums and CDs. I guess I love her as much as you do. Have a look at and a listen to MJ's 'Childhood' (You Tube) and see if you reckon BS could do a great version of that song! See ya, mate!

i just finished listening to this album. i think it's very beautiful & heartbreaking, suitable for this fall/winter season and different from her works before. i think we have one best pop vocal performance album nominee here, if it doesn't get album of the year nod.
highly recommended!
