does anyone know the name of this song?!

I was 9 when it happened to me (I'm male) and even in the 32 years since, I still have those feelings. But it's why I am an advocate for survivors. It's never your fault, and just remember, "Don't believe those voices"!!! :)

I am an advocate for survivors, mainly because when I was 9, I was raped by my cousin, who was 14. Your story makes every second I have put in with the rape crisis center in my town worth it. If I or my organization can save even one person, it's all worth it. Cyberhug!

this is an amazing group. if anyone is reading this and still hasnt spoken about what has happened to you, i know its hard. RAINN has a great online hotline, you dont have to actually speak about it, it helped me, hopefully it can help one of you. We will survive.

if you dont want to tell ur parents, dont, just tell someone who can help you. as much as i want my friend (who was raped as a chid) to tell her parents i know i cant force her and i definiteyly will not tell them for her. it is her decision, and now that she has told me we r working on getting her hep and healing her.
if a friend tells u they were assaulted, try with all u got in u to make them GET HELP.

krishnar lewis just gained a new fan.
and for anyone who has been sexually assualted (thats not just rape, thats oral sex, forced touching, etc.) remember IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! u can provoke someone with what u were or how u act, if ur drunk u still have the right to say no and NOT be assaulted, and just because you love somebody does not mean they can assault you or force you to do anything you dont want to.
get help, even if you do feel alright, becuz it can and will come back.

Rainn helped me, it can help you!
For those who might need it, the site "Resurrection After Rape" (google it) offers a free "bonus download" guide called "A parent's guide to helping a daughter who has been raped" and one called "A man's guide to helping a woman who has been raped." This is NOT spam; I am not selling/promoting anything--this resource is completely FREE and is used by many rape crisis programs. I just hope it helps someone.

I never thought I would be one of those one in six until it happened. I took me a long time to realize that I shouldn't be ashamed and what happened in no way was my fault.
Don't be afraid, speak out.
