Crocus are one of THE BEST spring ( vernus) plant. I like Pickwick and Eye Catcher.

crocus are my favorite flower of all time. living with seasonal affective dissorder, the first crocus i lay my eyes on in the spring give me the hope i need to make it through the next few weeks. i have planted 150 crocus in the front bed, where they can be shocased for all to see. planted in stripes of purple and white. i also naturlized a few in the lawn. i cant wait to plant hundreds more next fall. i will buy all the crocus out next time i see them. thanks for posting:)
