  • First week medicine intern yr I walked into room with 5 orthos, including head resident and chariman huddled over ecg, I'm trying to hide.

    ----> "hey you, medicine, there's something wrong with this ecg!"

    me: "well yes there is, it is upside down". That was the first time I new that I had something to offer people.

  • not as good as the anesthesia one.

    stereotypes are funny, but the ortho guys/gals all are pretty much AOA and at the top of their classes.

  • haha, this is great.

  • The fracture has a glucose problem" That makes perfect sense!

  • lol how DID he finish med school?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • This might be the funniest one yet.

  • Getting into Ortho training is a very steep slippery slope indeed.

    Chest pain = Cardiology consult.

    Cough = Respiratory consult.

    Anything else other than the fracture = Internal Med consult.

  • awesome material. is there anuy version translated to spanish? have a lot of friends...

  • othopods are people who COULD have been good Doctors had they continued practicing Medicine. My first comment to every new intern that tells me they want to go into orthopedics is" that's funny, I thought you wanted to be a doctor"

  • Too FUNNY!
