WCCA Valencia 2011

This is a slideshow from the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects trip to Valencia (Spain). We visited the office of Calatrava and had a guided tour of the City by Malek from Valencia University. Valencia is superb, it has everything: a beautiful historic centre with waves of good quality successive development that ripples out, a fabulous park that runs through the city in what was once the main river, fabulous modern architecture by Calatrava, Foster, Chipperfield, Renzo Piano and others and a sandy beach with palm trees with a string of restaurant selling fresh seafood...
