@crojalwol No, he didn't die. He said that Sookie's blood was the only way to live out in the sun(well, it was but for only a while), Russell bought it and followed Eric out. That's when Eric revealed the truth & handcuffed himself to Russel. Sookie stopped it and ran outside to drag them into Fangtasia. Gave Eric some of her blood so he could get better and left Russell to stay all charbroiled from the sun damage. After that they buried him alive under mounds of cement thanks to Acide.
