where i live am the only Asian with my family. we had this family kids being racist to us calling us stuff and we told their parents and they laughed at us and did nothing while the kids were being racist in front of the parents . Then we just call the cops telling them to tell them to stop or will we take it to the court. Though the cops said we should take it to court but we said only if they do it again. Th cops went to their house and told them that we arnt gona prosecute. Jus call the cops

@kendrawhisp if what you claim is true, that as a white person you would get treated worse then this in an "ethnic" neighborhood why not do a proof of concept to prove your idiotic assumption. Go take a walk through another neighhorhood and see what happens just for experiment sake.

The truth and the fact is that young people will behave outside of their house as they are taugh to behave inside their house. Now being a young peson means you can sometimes mix up with the people you wish you never mixed with them. I hate to say this but it is very true Asians aint that completly innocent either. How many times have they attacked our elderly people on the streets of London. How many times have you heard them saying racists comments against our European brothers and sisters.

im white and english but for some reason people think or maybe guess that i might not be. id love to live where you guys live because i get this abuse every day of my life. i dont think ive been out once in 5 years without at least 2 or 3 people calling me a paki bastard or throwing something at me etc. i never say anything back because i just dont see what good it would do. please tell me where these nice places are then i can move there!

Where I've lived in the UK I've never come across any kind of serious discrimination in public; religious, race or sexuality... so it sometimes shocks me to see people like this.

Racism clearly does exist though and it can happen to anyone regardless of which race you belong. It's up to us to challenge it when we see it or experience it... whether that's by simply reporting it or (if safe to do so) by confronting the racist.

I, in no way want to marginalise racism but I'm white, and I've experienced the exact same treatment, sometimes even worse when I've had the need to walk in areas such as these. In places like that, if your face is not recognised you are going to get shit. I imagine it can be much worse for people of indian/pakistani ethnic origin, but the fact of the matter is that these estates are filled with scum, decendents of a long line of welfare leechers, I'd just move away.

@walkjaysway thats is a supremely ignorant view of the UK, it does exist in the UK, but is also prevalent in the US, Africa, Australia and every continent in the world .. you only have to think anout KKK, Aryan Brotherhood etc who have persistent and present factions worldwide including the USA, Muslims should not be targeted for 9/11 as only extremist muslims were responsible .. we must understand this is a war we will have to fight for ever more regardless of our skin colour
