Why ABCD's are just as messed up than FOB's (coming from an ABCD)

I'm a 23 year old guy who's come across someone (not directly) who actually makes FOBs look socially groomed and suave. What is wrong???

why do you or people like you use FOBS or FOB for those international students who travel across d globe, pay thousands of dollars every year, struggle n succeed through every hardship n differences to work their way up.....they travel by plane, may be years from now your parents would have come here on a BOAT....try to respect an individual...u guys just disgrace n let down anyone related to you...shameeeeeeeeeee

@shahthedarknight Why don't you read the other comments on this page. FOB v ABCD is a distinction I make between those who emigrated from India vs those who've been born and bred in the western world. THATS IT. Just that simple difference alone makes that distinction. I am not using the terms to condescend one group over another, but rather, to isolate the two groups as separate entities in order to make a point.

I always thought that ABCD referred to an American Born Confused Desi, who seems to be living a double life (acting Desi at home to parents) and acting western outside amongst friends?? But here you talk about a guy who seems to be practicing Indian culture very diligently in public, or at least thats how your description of him comes across as.....

@unitedcoloursofAfg In this video I am using the term "ABCD" to describe Indians (or Pakis, Bengalis, etc) who have been brought up in a western nation like the US or Canada. I am solely using the categorization of upbringing to separate ABCDs/FOBs. I understand that someone employing a higher level of thinking would make note of the fact that this guy I speak of in my video is balancing both cultures (American, Indian) in a unique way that seems to suit him, but... I criticize his taste here.

@WallyPumster u need a grip to understand that Indians don't need a tag of FOB from a dumb-ass like u who doesn't respect anyone's preferences n make videos out of ignorance....and if u want let alone describe urself to be an american....nobody in india wants to relate to someone from their descent who doesnot understand a culture n anyone's preferences at all....whats wrong with praying every morning....loser....its pure hatred that comes out of ur video nnothin else....

lol thanks for the clarification. Nah, I don't usually think critically about videos that are meant to be somewhat comedic and not so serious. Its coz I have a paper to write about ABCD's and I came across your interesting vid. =)

From wikipedia:

"Pūjā or alternative transliteration Pooja, (Devanagari: पूजा) (Sanskrit: reverence, honour, adoration, or worship) is a religious ritual performed by Hindus as an offering to various deities, distinguished persons, or special guests."

Unless you are a priest or a very religious person who recently came from India and has been brought up religiously hardcore, it's hard for me to fathom someone outside this description actually doing puja. But lo and behold, there's at least 1!!!
