Dengeki Gakuen RPG : Cross of Venus - Chapter 5 Boss Fight vs Sabato

Boss fight against Sabato the Angel from Chapter 5 (the Bokusatsu Tenchi Dokuro-chan one) and end of said chapter, in "Dengeki Gakuen RPG : Cross of Venus", on Nintendo DS.

She's a rather annoying boss : not only her voice is teeth-gritting (STOP WITH THE ABUSE OF "DESUuuuu" !!), but her stungun attacks are penible as well, with that paralysis effect. And lots of her attacks are unblockable, to top it off.

For this boss and for the next one, Minori, I tried to find a better playing posture while recording in order to be more effective in battle, and I somewhat succeeded : I still can't fight 100% with the new posture, but it's still a vast improvement, and it shows on both those bosses. You'll even be able to see a complete Chain Burst (aka with the Helper Attack as well) on this vid ! Here, the Helper Attack card is Enomoto's Bazooka gang.

Dokuro, who joins after this boss fight, has an annoying voice, I know... But IMO, I find it tolerable, as long as she doesn't start to scream. And at least, it's slightly better than Sabato's.

You have to do a regular combo with all three of your chars, then, when finishing the combo on your third char, press the special attack button (Y if I remember right, it's been a while since I've last played the game), quickly switch to the next char and press the special attack button again, then switch on your third and last char and press the special attack button again. You'll then get the character eye zoom like at 2:17.

If I remember correctly (as I haven't played this game, and much less this Chapter, for a while), you have to pull the levers in the exact order so you make the word "Excaliborg" (エスカリボルグ). So, you need to pull the levers in the following order : エ, ス, カ, リ, ボ, ル, and グ.

No, and it'll never be. This game is too much of a hassle licence and translation (text + English voice casting) for any game publisher to adapt and distribute this game outside of Japan. The only way you'll be able to play it is in Japanese.

@AceNoctali Is English voice casting really necessary? Most of Chaos Wars is left un-dubbed anyway. Only the main cut scenes have English dialogue and it's pretty bad. They should of left it undubbed. At least the subtitles are in English in Chaos Wars. I'd be perfectly fine if it was just subbed.

What's wrong with Sabato's voice? It's high pitched and cute like many anime characters. Desu :3. Besides I think she speaks like that in the anime. YAH! HAUUUUU 2:06! Sabato will be difficult to fight since her body can withstand the blow of Excaliborg. Sweet you can even take her halo off. ETAI DESU! Did Sabato teleport after the battle? Did Dokuro say Binkan Salary Man sausage? What did Dokuro say when the white dog started talking to them?
