  • i bought those jacks, but i don't know what cable is suitable.

the guy at the shop recommends a cable that is stereo, which is for mic.

    is it the same?

  • You don't need a stereo cable. Use a regular mono cable that's thin enough to fit those angled jacks.

  • wouldnt it be easier just to use a wire peeler?? thats what I do lol

and another thing... my cable has a positive and a negative (or that is what I assume they are.... red and blue wires)

  • You might have a stereo cable. That's why the red and blue wires. The important thing is to be shielded. In that case use the shield to ground and twist the blue and red together and solder them both to the tip connector.

  • i use the same plugs, yeaahh rock on

  • Thanks!

  • Not really since I clean it immediately in the wet sponge.

  • You are welcome!

  • Hmm - a plug is a plug - and it shouldn't attenuate the sound. There might have been other issues - maybe shorts? Not sure why.

  • The Canary studio grade is thinner.

  • Try also Canary studio grade cable if you can find it.

  • Good for you! Thanks!

  • Size matters, Core X2, George L's are great. I prefer fixed factory cables myself. bought a bunch of Core X2 on sale at MF. They are one foot gold jack heavy shields. The jacks are big but gold rules.
