indaviz 007 -- connecting Wiimotes to your PC (instructions)

Step-by-step instructions how to connect two Wii remotes to your PC that has a Wii-compatible bluetooth dongle and the Widcomm stack (with "My Bluetooth places" icon.)

Viz, Widcomm has been bought out by broadcom... Had troubles last night using an I/O gear dongle +vista. The wii mote did continue to blink.. but sseing your post makes more clear to me. Are you using PPJOY or Glove pie in the background as an emulator... I am wondering if you need either of these for miilkdrop?...

@TechnoVisionDetroit I only used the Wiimotes with XP, and I did use IR. I've dropped Wiimotes from my project though, I only use camera vision.

the leds are supposed to keep blinking until you open some software that uses the wiimote

i wonder why your fist wiimote has the 1led on, while you didnt launch anything yet

possibly because i had it all connected and then disconnected before recording the video, without unplugging the bluetooth dongle first. it may have retained some state info in the wiimote itself.

it doesnt do that on mine

i conncect it, launch a program, lator close the program, disconnect it, then lator reconnect, they all keep blinking

In Da Viz, Also did you build a IR emiter bar for the wii mote... or do you just use the acceleromiters only?...
