Ziya Azazi has been melting occidental contemporary choreography with oriental classical and soufi ritual danse. Like a turner dervish intending to reach physical and intelectual limits, Ziya Azazi transforms the rotation in a subtile choreography in which each movement bring the danser to his own metamorphosis.
Serge Adam demonstrates the same comittment in his relationship with his instrument. Atypical trumpet player, sound experimentator, he is curious the other artistic disciplines and goes beyond the limits of jazz to explore improvisation and electronic music.
The meeting of two singular artists, leading the same quest : the centre gravity of their own research which draws the choreographic movement and the instrumental gesture in the same vortex. One is rooted in the dilated time of soufis transe rituals, the other one in the suspended time of improvisation.
