Paul Gosselin and Gib McInnis discuss Kurt Vonnegut's ambivalence with Darwinism. While Vonnegut accepts this as an explanation of origins, he does not like the result when it is applied to real societies. In further discussion, it appears that both Stephen Jay Gould and Richard Dawkins shared this ambivalence, despite being ardent evolutionists. Apparently it is difficult to be a coherent evolutionist.
Due to being shot on location, as well as the very weak audio editing capabilities of IMovie09, somef background noise remains in the video.
