@AmitGaming What do you have against it? We are all equestrians no matter what style.
-
@cooldbz12 excuse me?! "wussies"?!? Well what matters in the end is that we are all equestrians and I think that was VERY disrespectful to the REAL riders.
-
@halfgoodhalfevil I'm glad someone agrees with me:) I learned western first to but now I'm an English girl(even though I live in the country where most people ride western)

@Breyerhorserider We are NOT "proper" and we do NOT "always want to look are best" I mean sure on show days we try to look nice but around the barn i am covered in dirt and dust and sometimes i even spray myself with a hose!!
-
@TheABLTZ Of course we get dirty! Do you think we just sit there and do nothing!? OF COURSE NOT! My pants are stained with dirt and dust and horse snot and whatever else gets on them! And i do have to say it is a lot of work riding in any kind of saddle or even no saddle at all!!!!

@dappledbaybeauty wow, I can't believe I found an intellectual comment on youtube. I applaud you.

@saddleback101 I agree. I ride western, but I've rode english a few times and I know it's just as challenging. I don't think one style of riding is any better than another style of riding. Each style of riding was made for a different purpose and we as riders should respect each other. I personally love western because I learned in western and live in the southwest USA, but I still would love to try dressage and show jumping to expand my riding knowledge.

I ride English, but I think i'd prefer Western, since it's more of a 'relaxed' way of riding

@TheABLTZ Nice stereotype,
@LuckyBuckyDucky apparently you hate the english language too

I don't have anything against western, I mean riding is riding, but I like English a lot better and I think they are equally as challenging. But I hate it when western people say English is "proper" or "prissy" because it's not. Western riders fall off and so do English, western riders compete and so do English, western riders and English are both true equestrian sports.
