@rockandrope Hi, first of all you're very welcome! When I got the kit I was really pleased with its performance and a little surprised at how few people seem to know about them or use them!
Your question is obviously something people are keen to know, as someone asked me before! I have posted a list of six reasons why I think it is an improvement in previous comments (about 2 months ago).
Have a look and if you have any more questions just ask!

how long does the pressure last fro ???

@KRAYSLiCK999 Depends really, if the bottle isn't very full of paraffin/other fuel you have to pump it more to get the pressure, but even when it's running low you would have to pump it less frequently than you would have to refill a meths burner. Does that help?
We cooked two dinners for five people and then breakfast in the morning, plus two rounds of hot drinks, during a stay in White Laggan bothy in Galloway and after priming it I only had to pump it up again once.

@BenightedBivvy i was thinking of making a homemade one but so far i looked on Google and no plans for making one similar to this !

@KRAYSLiCK999 honestly mate I don't think you'll have any luck, the parts are too complicated. Unlike the meths burner, where loads of people have made replica/"improved" penny stoves, this one has the fuel injector needle with a clever cleaning system, and a magnet tool. Basically, you brush the tool underneath the needle and it moved the needle around in a way that cleans out any impurities in the injector that had been partially blocking the system.
Were you going to use it with a Trangia?

@KRAYSLiCK999 Also, I seem to remember my technology teacher telling me that it is illegal (in the UK) to make compression cylinders without a licence, which is essentially what you would be doing (unless you were planning on buying the bottle part).
Not that the illegality of it would be enough to put many people off, but I believe it is illegal because of the danger involved, so wouldn't recommend it.

Great thanks for taking the time to record and post, really interesting.
Wanted to ask, apart from the cheaper fuel what other benefits do you see to using this cooking system?
Thanks
