  • Great Instrumentation, etc on this track. but the lyrics could better have been more savoury: just like - for example - a call through a locked door for the occupant to wake up and get out of bed and open the friggin' door so that I can barge in and crash - I've come a long way,I'm buggered, open the friggin' door,I won't drink all your friggin' beer, etc, Instead, the lyrics are for some slob demanding a screw[with some poor dumd chick] in the basest of requests.

  • In reality the song is actually about the lead singer in real life getting home from gigs and tours knackered and finding his first wife sleeping on his side of the bed... telling her to roll over, lay down and let him in his bed.

  • I recently went to Status Quo's concert in Paris, and it was fabulous! I was literally touching the stage, and I was right in front of Rossi, and he kept smiling at me. It was really great, and I had a huge smile on my face when I came out of the concert, but lately I've really been missing them. I just love them all so much, and they aer a fabulous band. I think it's amazing how many people show up at their concerts, yet their songs don't play much on the radio.

    Long live Quo!

    #1 fan =))

  • @nursefan

"It ain't the number of chords, it's the way you arrange them". To those that complain about such things.

I seriously don't know anything other than how to strum a guitar, but I know good music when I hear it.

I'm still wondering why this group didn't have better success in the states.

  • @FAB469FAB469 they have ALWAYS used keyboards ...its nothing new ........

  • It´s only R´n`Roll, but I like it. Status Ouo, die beste Rock-Band der Welt.
