I loved it when they made it outside the city...to see it in ruins and atmospheric.
I wish they had of explored that more....I'd have been quite happy for the film to run 7+ hours....I wanted to explore the buildings, trees and caves.
I also like the planet of the apes...the first two films were my favourites.
Great music aswell...Jerry was a genius...

Jerry Goldsmith's music once they escape the domed city reminds me of Aaron Copeland's music.

One of the very best compositions Goldsmith ever pulled together. The mix of styles and the rather interesting arrangements make for something truly special. This track has stuck in my mind ever since hearing it for the first time in 1976.

Jerry Goldsmith was one of the most brilliant film score composers of all time---and certainly one of the most prolific. This cue contains a wonderful version of the Love Theme from *Logan's Run*, as well as Jerry's characteristic "awe-&-mystery" motifs! Gotta love it!!

Love this music! Thanks!
I love how Jerry Goldsmith first used wierd electronic music for the interior scenes of the city and then switched to orchastral music when they made it outside.

Beautiful music. I remember hearing this when they saw the Washington Monmument and the Lincoln Memorial after escaping the city.
