@tetekofa If car companies ever allow us to purchase and own electric cars, the use of solar energy would be important. Every household would have solar panels to charge the grid during the day, and allow these households to charge their electric car at night.

This is the stupidest idea ever. It takes coal fired steam plants to generate the electricity, transmitted over a worn out electrical grid...WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN WHEN EVERYONE PLUGS IN THEIR ELECTRIC CAR TO THE GRID...POOF.

Guys the Us Government is not stupid. This is the people who are in position in Government that are responsible for the killing of the electric car. I mean you talk as if the Government was some guy in Washington name Government it take a lot of people to make something like A non-polluting electric car to just go away. that's not a very profound thing to say. There idea of going green is getting the green. That green dollar bill. That's the only green that Politicians want to here about.
