  • What a great film! I liked Tony Perkins. People used to say I looked like him and I was very proud of it, when I was 16. Didn't know he was a singer too. Discovered it 50 years later. Rockybrazil1

  • He was wonderful with Jane Fonda in Tall Story also.

  • This was an absolutely lovely film. I still love to hear this song from it, and always will.

Little known fact, this was written by Richard Nixon's cousin.

Hardly pro war, a real family struggling with right and wrong.

  • Two movies ruined Tony Perkins; "Fear Strikes Out" and "Psycho". He played mentally ill young men in both and did very well. After these movies, it was hard to look at Perkins without seeing the crazy guy in his his eyes.

  • What a respect for lyrics, what a casual yet focused performance style! His singing voice is exactly like his speaking voice, and that's rare. This is not meant as a criticism, but he sings like a very talented amateur who doesn't aspire to the overblown histrionics of "real" singers. He just sings it. His pleasure in singing is obvious, too. He made several albums during his heyday which did very well, and appeared in a musical, Greenwillow. (If you already know this, sorry.)

  • @ferociousgumby Is that a Fact about his wife ? Really a BIG day for the MUSLIM Scum Sucking Cowards.

I worked for a while on the Top @ Windows of the World.
