Amiga - The Settlers (Die Siedler) :: Ending

The end sequence to the settlers, I never managed to complete this game the first time round as I just wasn't good enough, plus the game would crash if you went to a certain place on the map. Now that I'm older and don't have to wait for the game to load I've managed to complete this game and upload the ending!

i remember when i was 8 or 9 years old and my dad was at the end of 30 level. i was in school and dad, because he knew that the victory is close, saved the game and then ended it. when i came back, he with big smile said "i did it. i passed the settlers. come on, i saved to show you how it ends". it was awesome. i couldn't believe that he really did it. i remember his happiness :D

it was more that 10 years ago.. i still love and play that game, my dad and sister too.

I could never complete the last level (30). I think there was a bug which prevented new settlers being made.... Thanks for posting; I had no idea there was an end sequence.

@iainhead oh, you're so wrong :) he's (still) a engine driver in huge factory, so he has a bit of free time, so he can play games if he's really bored :) for me, he's a master of the settlers.

After seeing this video, I just HAD to do finish this game, even 16 years after its release! It took me about 8 hours to complete the last level. For those willing to try it aswell, the trick is to expand quickly to the south of your castle, then work your way towards the west. After that, good planning and a lot of reloading..

Played the original Amiga version (on a real Amiga) and eventually the pc version (which has a higher resolution) using dosbox on both pc and amiga (os4).
