Don't be ashamed, fly the Confederate flag!

For far too long, we as Americans have forgotten our history. We have forgotten what it means to fight for freedom. We have forgotten what it means to stand up for what we believe in.

It is a shame, that we have allowed the media, the liberals, the NAACP to tell us to ignore history, to ignore the fact that the South fought for freedom. It is easy for them to say we, those who display the flag, are racists but they themselves are the racists because they can not stand one man celebrating freedom.

Be proud that our Southern citizenry fought for freedom and should not have any shame. Like General Lee said, "we had, I was satisfied, sacred principles to maintain and rights to defend for which we were in duty bound to do our best, even if we perished in the endeavor."

Fly your flag southerners. Its important to remember where you're from. For those simple people saying that its offensive, think about it. Its a piece of cloth. The person makes it what it is. I can draw a spoon on a bed sheet and say it represents a fork, but that doesn't mean that's what it is to you. And racism. It is an opinion. You can't help what you truly think. @irobot428 Look up the Corwin Amendment -- Lincoln supported it, and Illinois ratified it. It would have made slavery unchangeable by the US Congress and a permanent part of the US. Thus the South was fighting for something else and seceded for something else too. Your real Am flag brought every captive African to these shores in chains while the stars & stripes was flying above their cramped, crowded, stifling, brutal conditions.
