I am getting horrible speed on my recordings. At first I set it to 25 fps and 90% quality. I was getting AWFUL recording speed, frame-rate capture was about 0.0147 success rate. I bumped it down to 1 fps at 50% quality, and the success rate was about .99%
I have a Celeron D processor, which is bad, but it ran well under Hypercam when I used XP.
Are there any specific tweaks? Does XLG mess with the recordings?
Hi there, it is good to have such tutorials - but: to make it more attractive you should reduce the size of the konsole - also you should call this video "installing xvidcap". Your distribution seems to be a bit hard to handle here. Under Debian I use apt-get install xvidcap - done.
The 2nd half is better - but the black xterm is still a minus. Thanks mate, however, there is nothing that cannot be improved ;)
padsp xvidcap ( pulse audio) but i have a problem :
[mpeg4 @ 0xb3f01720]removing common factors from framerate
[oss @ 0xb18325f0]Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate
help me =(
