If this game wasn't so linear and if they added more fun side quests and if you could actually run around the world map... it would've been 10/10... but overall its a 8/10 for me.. excellent music, graphics, gameplay.. plot not so much.

@FrYLocK41 well if you feel that way you should try 13-2. it's everything you just said you wanted right there. it's the best. i just with i could play as lightning more

I like more ffxiii than ffxiii-2...in story, usable characters and soundtrack but ffxiii-2 is much better gameplay

And yet, this theme is probably one of the more refreshing themes than most FF games. It's not the best, but getting bored in battle with this theme on isn't going to be a landslide.
