camaro 3.1 v6 exhaust

it starts popping around 3000 rpm and to me anything past 2500 sounds like a toy race car... ziiiiiiiizzzzz... would the flowmaster 40 series give it lower tone and help the popping?

i have the flow master 40 series on my 3.1 92 also and it makes it idle deeper just alwasy has that awful ricer noise when its revs above 3000 so yeah it helps just not a huge difference.

@unraveledfaun yeah i tried pretty much everything... in the end i put a splitter on the stock midpipe and ran 2 pipes from that to the back of the car... so stock 2 inch to just before the rear axle... then split into two 2 1/2" pipes out the back... no mufflers... it sounded soooo good.... almost like a 305.... no rice! nevr pulled over once either... there are videos of it on here somewere... but i sold the car :(

@unraveledfaun well it helps u just need to keep the stock pipes and just replace the muffler and tips cuz i got 40s on my camaro and it sounds just like an 8 check out my video
