Bad choice on my part using the word disgusting and making reference to eating it with the shell. Since that comment I have learnt that prawns soon after moulting have a soft edible shell, able to be eaten. See, you live and learn;)
BUT, as for eating it live, primitive. Can someone explain the reason? Is it a belief that a live creature empowers some part of your anatomy?
After all, cultures kill Tigers for the penis to empower sexuality. Guess that's fine also. All in the name

I'm all for culture experiences etc but what's the purpose of this? It's not like the prawn is pickled and has a soft shell. Wouldn't it be disgusting. It's bad enough Shen you leave a bit of shell in a peeled prawn let alone with this method. I realise a fresh prawn has a softer shell but I looks awful. Also, is eating a live prawn meant to be empowering in some way? Seems like a stupid, ignorant, primitive
