Pigeons Rescued from Wing Pointe Killing Resort

This video documents some of the rescue efforts of SHARK following a December 5, 2010 live pigeon shoot held at Wing Pointe, a resort for animal serial killers located at 1414 Moselem Springs Road, outside Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
Twenty-one live pigeons were rescued. Unfortunately, that was just a fraction of those who could not be found, or who were able to elude rescuers.
SHARK initiated the rescue due to the steadfast refusal of Berks County District Attorney John Adams to take action. Mr. Adams has even refused to allow Pennsylvania Humane Police Officers to prosecute separately from the DA's office. It should come as no surprise that DA Adams has received contributions from the pigeon shooters.
PA's live pigeon shoots are supported by the National Rifle Association (NRA).

hi mate im a shooter hunter and ferreter, please dont judge me on what i do and my opinions cause im not going to judge you but this sport in america is rong! i always give my quarry a chance to escape and try no to put fear into them befor shot also i kill them to controll them and help out farmers and when i shoot i make sure it dies as fast as possible i will not leave it to suffer. thanks if your read this and thank you if you approve it :) cheers

I really can't see the sport in this. Why not just shoot clay pigeons? They shoot the bird like 5 feet off the ground. I really don't have a problem with hunting (for substanance). But this is just plain dumb).

Thank you very much for saving those pigeons, I appreciate it. I hate it when those cold-hearted bastards injure or kill pigeon for no good reason. Back in Iowa, some pigeons go to dog kennels to be used for target practice, and I have saved 6 pigeons from dying in those horrible places. Keep up the good work and hope this cruelty end soon.
