Do you ever feel so alone, even when you are with your friends/family or at work, do you feel no one understands you, do you feel different than the others, as though you have to "fake" a version of you just to fit in. Tiring isn't it? How we can crave that others would see who we truely are, how we can crave for someone whom in our imagination would take away the loneliness.

But, one thing is for sure, we cannot control others, we cannot bend other peoples wills to our way of thinking, we have no control of others, even so, we should not have to change into a false personality just to become accepted by others, this can only cause lies, and a stronger feeling of losing oneself.

What we need to do is accept whom we are, and become happy with that. If we were all the same how boring life would be, its the differences between us that make the world an interesting place, You have as much value as anyone you see, You have as much talent as anyone you see, You are as beautiful as anyone you see...

Just maybe not in the ways you wish you were!

Accept yourself, love yourself, Know you are precious and loved. Be greatful you are not one of the people that each day is someone they are really not, but are desperate to fit in.

You do not have to spend out your life in a place such as the video shows. You can step out of such a place beginning with just one step at a time.

If this feels like you, get up, get up now! don't think about it! Get up, start moving, get on the phone to someone, go for a run, Take that first step out of the secluded place in your head, and discover all the interesting people and places that there are.

@MsJdjunior Have faith! Maybe the guys at your school aren't the best option for you. there's somebody out there, without even realising that he's waiting for you.

I know that it is difficult, because I kinda feel like you do. But what if you changed your way of acting? The best thing you can do if you want to change a situation is to change yourself a bit. Be more self-confident, dare to do more things! :-) The sun will shine over your face, too!

You are so right Paul... I have spent several years of my life pretending, out of fear of not being accepted... But I did it horribly badly. I didn't convince anyone, and the whole situation only made me feel worse. I have now started a life in which I am just what I am. because that's the only me there is. I don't care anymore, if I'm alone or if I'm in a crowded room, I am always with myself, no matter what. Your music helps me to stay on this new road. Thank you! ♥
