In this clip, James Scott (EJ DiMera) breaks it down about how difficult contract negotiations were and why EJ is running for Mayor of Salem. James also teased the fans that they do not need to give up hope for EJ and Nicole.

@allisonm991 I have always thought that if you like Ejami for whatever reason, then you like them. I don't see the point of bringing up how he treats Nicole because he has treated Sami far worst than he has ever treated Nicole. The list of things he has done to Sami is long and none of it resembles love. It's no fun for the rest of us to watch these two constantly at each others throats, and when they are not, they are still boring. It's time the writers stop trying 2 put them togethr & move on

@carolz1969 It looked like James was typing info from a business card in his phone. He's said in the past that he is highly disorganized. I can see him wanting to get it in there before he lost the card (probably as soon as he got up). And I don't think there is a moment to breathe at these things for the performers.

I just love Ej and Nicole neither one of them is perfect and they have hurt each other but they have not gone too far to come back and be truly happy. They have such great chemistry together as a couple. Ej and sami are better as rivals because they really bring out the worst in each other and it can be fun to watch but at times disturbing. So them fighting each other makes sense to me but as a couple No Thank You

Oh my gosh, it is a soap, no one would like to glamorise rape, however have you really sat down and watched Reality TV, far worse than any soap..EJ and Sami were never given a chance, and the chemistry between James and Alison is exceptional.

I so don't want them to go the EJami route again.All this couple does is glorify and romanticize RAPE,and that's just not the message that I want young girls watching this show to get.Rape is a CRIME,and they should have had EJ pay for it.Instead,they're going to have them hit the sheets yet AGAIN.
