This was the second day of shooting in Downtown Montreal, Its for the New Phantom Legacy Movie. They are portraying New York in the movie Because they had NYPD Cars (The Day before they had New York Yellow Cabs) and The Audi S6 had New York License Plates (RA0 7671).

P.S. for the people who don't know why they don't film in New York, it's because it Costs much more to close a street in New York than it does in Toronto Or Montreal. A lot of films that are suppose to be portraying New York are actually shot in Toronto Or Montreal. Off the Top of my head I know Half baked (Starring Dave Chapelle Was shot on Yonge Street in Downtown Toronto (the scene with the dying horse)

  • This is shooting of The Phantom mini series for the Sci-Fi channel and not the movie Legacy.

Still was nice to get a glimpse of the costume, though I am not really keen about the storyline direction of this series.

  • i dont think this was the mini series although i am aware of it. The crew told me it was for the new movie. Also i saw it on tv after wards on star saying how the movie was filming in montreal.

  • Yeah, this is for the Mini Series. I remember this scene from the Second episode.

  • @OmegaBooshGaming and not what you want to see? It's amazing that I actually have to retype this shit almost word for word? It's not like you just misheard me. It's there to read again and again if you need to.

Why the fuck do I even bother?

  • @OmegaBooshGaming That is not what I said. There has been over a decade of nothing happening. There are rumors every now and again, but there is no script, there is no financing, etc. Again, I never said there would not EVER be another Phantom flick, but that by the time it does happen, it'll be a different project.

Why do I find myself repeating myself constantly? Why do I constantly have to clarify comments that were perfectly clear to begin with? How about actually reading the goddamn post

  • @xJoeEDangerouslyx I haven't read the comic or anything, I just picked up this at my library because I was looking for a new movie to watch. It's different than what I'm used to seeing in the theatres and all so that's why I liked it. But anyways, saying that a movie won't happen because it's been in development for 10 years is just like saying that Duke Nukem Forever wasn't going to be released.

  • @OmegaBooshGaming It won't happen. It's been in development for over 10 years. There are sporadic rumors, but by the time we get a movie, it'll be a completely different project. I know you liked the mini, but most phans did not, (including myself) and without the fanbase enthusiastically supporting it, there's just not enough of an audience to justify an ongoing series or large-budget feature. I want a new flick too, though. I'd like to see Sam Worthington or Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in the lead.

  • When is the movie supposed to be filmed and released? I just watched the mini-series yesterday and really liked it.

  • @themafia69 Sorry, but this was from the mini series ;-)
