NOTE: Since this video was requested so many times I finally decided to bite the bullet and post it.

I was procrastinating because I had a feeling it would be a VERY long video and sure enough I was right. Hopefully you took my suggestion and are reading this instead of trying to follow through the video because a half an hour of knotting would be a test of anyone's sanity.

Pattern number 4906 on Friendship Bracelets (dot) net.
Link: http://friendship-bracelets.net/pattern.php?id=4906

For this bracelet you will need to cut your strings 70"-75" (inches) long. I would suggest 75" (MAYBE 65" if you have a really small wrist!)

FULL STRAND = 75" (inches)
HALF STRAND = 33" (inches)

You will need:
3 blue (background color)
1 orange (beak and feet)
1 full black strand + one half black strand (body)
1 full white strand + one half white strand (inner body and face)

For the "half strands" just cut and fold all of your normal sized strands first and then go back add in the colors you need a half of. Form the loops by folding the regular sized strands then measure the half strands from the loop of the full sized strands to the end of them- perfect sized half strands every time.

Now just add the strings to the group of folded strings and overhand knot as usual. (NOTE: You will have full loops from the full strands and two 'stray' strands that are loose, those are the half strands.)

Set up:

1 2 1 2 3 4 1 ("middle") 3 1 3 1 4 1 4
1= blue
2= orange
3= black
4= white

(If you have trouble setting up your strings just pause the video and set it up exactly like you see it in the video.)

NOTE: If you keep losing track of what row you are on just use a ruler or a seperate piece of paper to cover up the pattern. As you complete a row move down the ruler/paper to expose the next row- It will "underline" the row you are on and help you focus better.

  • NO!

  • @912claudia Okay then.

  • It's called BRACELET BOOK

  • @peppytaz18 Nevermind. You were talking about an app.

  • can't wait for the day I'll feel comfortable enough to make this...

  • @3eternity3 You could try using a cardboard loom to work on it. It keeps the strings in place so you can go pair for pair without strings re-arranging on you.
