@GaiusIuliusTaberna Oh no, another supposed staunch lefty turned war mongering idiot like Hitchens. You haven't changed. You were a prick then and you're a prick now.
'4.Hide your face and weep if you dare to harm a child.'
No, you just prefer to just hide from the children you harm. Twat.

@funkydreddUK Its not a cult jackass... the mushroom cloud flags weren't just reported by hitchens either... Hezbollah aren't exactly subtle about their insanity.
-
Well, it looks like they're going to be right about Egypt!

@DYORPEEPS Any army who risk their lives on patriotic/nationalistic lines in all male units trained to kill shouldn't be in charge, without accountability, of women and children of the enemy that tries to kill them. There is more spotlight on armies based on the western democratic model due to concepts free press, separation of church and state, and freedom from religious persecution than under the main alternatives: Sharia Law, Communism or secular military dictatorships.

It helps when pointing the finger at one nation that you are clear what you actually stand for. I have a particular interest in genocidal campaigns against minorities in the Third World which is why these ideals which are prevalent while by no means perfect in democracy is 'beloved' to me. If the above is not important to you then it is not important you.

@rgiri77 Where in that statement does it say women under rubble were raped? Check the facts, some soldiers were sent back for sex with prostitutes, some of which were claimed to be minors. Those are the facts.
I suggest you look into your beloved US army and what they've been up to in Iraq and Afghanistan. But in your deluded world they're too righteous to have committed any crimes.

Found this in a couple of seconds via Google.
On Haiti:
"The charges against the Sri Lankan soldiers may include rape involving children under 18 years of age" - UN Paper on Haiti
-
@DYORPEEPS On Sri Lanka:
Amnesty said “to [our] knowledge ... one successful prosecution has been brought in a case where the victim of rape was also murdered.”
"... lack of serious investigation into allegations of gang rape and murder of women and girls by the Sri Lankan security forces" - United Nations Special Rapporteur -
Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) protested that “Sri Lankan security forces are using systematic rape and murder of Tamil women to subjugate the Tamil population"

Re: Funkydredd (doing this manually since another user marked his/her message as spam).
Actually I've finally realised you are an isolationist supporter of the antiwar stance. There is nothing to be gained from arguing with you because you would maintain any war where the UK is not directly attacked by a conventional army is a waste of money regardless if that country is a sanctury for suicide bombers who have attacked this country and commit genocide against minorities.
We'll agree to disagree.
Brilliant thanks for posting I really enjoyed this.

Good documentary. I have to confess I was firmly in the "anti-america-at-all-costs" camp, but looking over the facts at the last 5 years has made my old assumptions and opinions untenable. I'm not a supported of the Iraq war but I am with regime change and freedom. I just don't know how you can have one without the other!
