FABULOUS!

This is absolutely delightful, and many thanks for posting the score as well.

excellent interpretation,clear and brillant.Somewhat better than Colard's

I agree. I had a similar experience with Ivo's English Suite 3. There are a lot of complaints about the speed and cerebral nature of his playing, but I think it's absolutely wonderful and appropriate.

Beautifull playing. It seemed exactly the right speed to me.

I great example of funny music, Saint-saens was a genius and a humorist and this is a great interpretation of his comedy. I laughed myself silly!

You may find it hilarious; I find it charming with a touch of wit. It was written for the wedding of Saint-Saëns' friend Caroline Montigny Rémaury, herself an accomplished musician, so I don't think the composer meant it to be overly comical or satirical... assuming he wanted to keep her as a friend!

The score suggests 88 measures-per-minute, but Daniel is playing at almost 94 mpm. After hearing this sparkling interpretation, however, everyone else sounds to me like they are playing this piece too slowly!
