It was never mentioned in the book that the elves participated in the war at Helm's Deep. Still, the movie is great!

@charliesilver13 I would say about 2 to 300 in the movie. None in the book. I take it they all died except Legolas of course.By the way Legolas in the movie's was more like Glorfindel.

What I can;'tfigure out is why aren't we so beautiful as this? I mean, we are supposed to find the beauty in ourselves, but soemthing is obviously wrong with us. It's like the dark brother really DId come along and spit on the EArth God's new ly made clay man... spittle and gall on the insides... the God turned us inside out, and that is why. But... can we not become whole again? I'm confused. All the time. But they say that's thebest place to be, because then you cna see. go figure.
