i also forgot to slow down a lot after each pass :)

i can see you point but try these for bigger or shallow(low bowls)
1 try raising the walls with a slight curve or angle, repeat with more curve and delicate touch
2 try opening a little wider on the inside of the base to help the support the weight of the walls
3 and last use less water and use ribs, ribs will help a lot, itll take practice to use them correctly but it will compress the walls which will help with the weight and curve as well as remove excess slip
and no problem, happy potting

Riley has clay on his nose more often than not! I guess he's a potter at heart too, just like his owner!

no way to make a pot is wrong but im just curious why not just throw the general shape then do a final touch compared to a cylinder then shape, shape, and shape? i do see one downside to your way, the thickness of the wall gets thinner and thinner the higher up since its stretched and not passed evenly

well, I if you throw the clay as a bowl to begin with, the clay gets too heavy and can't support itself as you pull.
The lower thickness is neccessary to support the form and is later trimmed away.
Keep in mind that I'm not a professional, and so, I still need to learn as well.
Thanks for watching and your comment!

Well, I really wish I could tell you, but actually, I don't have any idea at all. But thank you for watching and your comments.

Keep getting dirty. We can only get better, yeah? You can't beat a beautiful bowl form.
